Birthday bash and Day Out With Thomas!

Yum yum watermelon!

I'm finally two!
I had an awesome birthday week! It started on Monday with my actual birthday where I got to open presents and blow out a candle. We also decided to start potty training and it went very well. After setting a timer and sitting on the toilet every 15 minutes all day, I only had two accidents! It took a few more days to get trained on #2 and this weekend was out first adventure using public toilets. The good news it, when you gotta go, you gotta go and we made it work. I still wear a diaper at night but I'm officially potty trained and wearing big boy undies!!

We had a fun birthday day party on Saturday at the Green Lake Wading Pool with about 15 kids. The weather was bit chilly and windy but we made the most of it and went swimming anyways. We decided not to have a cake but I helped mommy make brownies, cookies and rice crispy treats instead. Everyone ate them all up! The only thing left over was the fruit. We had a bubble machine and a duck pond with prizes too.

Day Out With Thomas
One of my birthday gifts from Uncle Dan was a Train Engineer hat and train tickets to ride with Thomas the Train in Snoqualmie, WA. We had a nice picnic lunch next to Snoqualmie falls and then spent a few hours playing with motorized train sets (and I even got to use the remote controller), wooden train tables, steam trains, dancing to music, getting a train tattoo, jumping in the bouncy house and posing in front of a GIANT Thomas the Train (which made me quite terrified). Then we got to go for a nice ride along the river and I had a window seat.
