Happy Thanksgiving!

Where's Theo? Happy Thanksgiving everyone! Things I am thankful for: 1. Mommy 2. Daddy 3. Turkey 4. That my little sister isn't here yet and I still get #1 and #2 to myself 5. iPad (to facetime with all my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends and to watch Thomas the Train movies) There he is! We had a cozy Thanksgiving dinner with two of Mommy's friends, Martins and Angela. We ate lots of turkey, chestnut and sausage stuffing, wild rice salad, cranberry relish, candied yams, and apple pie (baked in a paper bag!). There was a notable absence of the Pastorius classics: mashed potatoes, gravy and snickers salad, but I think the replacement dishes were exceptional and I can't really complain. Our new dining room table and our Thanksgiving feast with Martins and Angela! Happy Halloween!

The Grumpy Fireman (before I realized how fun it was to get candy!) Despite having a 103.4 fever the night before, I woke up feeling fine on Halloween and enjoyed staying home from daycare with Daddy in the morning and Mommy in the afternoon. We carved my pumpkin that I picked out at the community garden with my daycare friends last week. I didn't want to put on my costume but when Grandma and Grandpa told me that I could get candy, I hesitantly put on my fireman's suit and went trick-or-treating with Mommy. Our plan was to just go to a couple houses but it was so much fun that after each house I would hold up one finger and say, "One more house, Mommy." I LOVED getting candy! When we got home after and hour and a half, I dumped my pumpkin bucket over on the couch to check out all my candy. Mommy let me have a few pieces and I even shared some with her and Daddy, too.
