Wedding weekend and eleven months by the numbers

"Raindrops keep falling on my head.."
Minnesota
We had a great weekend in Minnesota! It was full of familiar faces (Grandma, Grandpa, Auntie Anne and Uncle Eric, Jim, Larry, Beth, Cousins Lauren and David and Winnie and Louie, too), and lots of new faces. On Friday we had the Rocheford family over and then Mommy went out with her friends in Uptown. Saturday, we went out to brunch with Mommy's friends and then drove to Minnetrista to Gale Woods Farm for Lizz and David's wedding. I had to dress up too but thankfully the shirt wouldn't button all the way up so I didn't have to wear the clip on tie. On Sunday, we went to a graduation party for Alec Tolson (Mommy used to nanny for him when he was my age) and then left for the airport. It was late and I had a hard time falling asleep on the plane and cried on and off for at least 30 minutes (sorry Mommy). It was a busy weekend and the weather wasn't great (actually quite similar to Seattle but even more rain) but we'll be back in July which made it easier to leave.
I found my arrow (Washington)!

Eleven Months - by the numbers
1 - the number of times I've fallen off the bed
2 - the number of teeth I have (with four more coming in up top!)
3 - number of words I know "Mama," "Dada," and "Mmmm"
4 - my shoe and diaper size
5 - for "High 5s" that I love to give now
7 - the number of steps I took today without assistance
11- the number of consecutive hours that I consistently sleep every night
18 (months) - the size of clothes that I'm currently wearing (and nearly outgrown!)
21 - the number of days until I turn one (7/14)!
50 - the number of blueberries I could eat at one sitting if Daddy let me...

I love waving at everything: from saying goodbye to Mommy when she leaves for work in the morning to waving at my food when I throw it on the ground, and waving at my toys on the ground to waving goodbye to my nanny when she leaves at the end of the day. Anything with wheels or that involves a ball is my favorite game. I love to stand up in the crib and get air born jumping - time for a toddler bed? Maybe. I climb on everyone and everything in sight. I have a new foam alphabet mat that I love to take apart and watch Mommy put it back together. I won't sit still for more than one minute of reading before bed but Mommy tries when she's home (they just are more fun to eat and throw on the ground than to look at).

Another Checkpoint
Mommy's finished another year of training (now only five more to go) - yay! Mommy and Daddy left me home alone (don't worry the neighbors were watching the monitor from next door) so they could go to the Internal Medicine Graduation, also known as "Med Prom". I hear it was a great time and Mommy got to see lots of her residency friends, say goodbye to the third years and reflect on how fast two years goes by. Wow! Next year maybe I will get to go and stay up late to join the dance party... pretty please?!
