We're moving!! We are buying a 3 bedroom, 3 bath house in Green Lake (a great family friendly neighborhood in Seattle) with an amazing sun room and porch off the master bedroom (740 N 72nd St Seattle, WA 98103). As long as the inspection goes well on Monday, we'll be moving in next month! Guests are welcome!

Tomorrow, we are traveling to Minnesota to celebrate Lizz and David's wedding for the weekend. It will be an adventure with our mobile almost-one-year-old-who-looks-like-he's-two. He isn't so light, nor small, nor quiet, nor sleepy, nor breastfeeding, nor anything that I can think of that will make this flight peaceful except that thank goodness it's only 3.5 hours and not 14 to Peru! We are excited to see all our friends and family in MN and get Theo dressed up and have him wear his little blue collared shirt with a clip-on tie and vest that I found at a local baby consignment store (photos next week). Watch out ladies!!

10 month development
Not only is he mobile but he's talking a lot more lately, "Momma" and "Dada dada" and lots of other sounds that we don't understand. He loves to walk with his walker and pull himself up on everything. He's very strong and changing his diaper has become a challenge because he likes to roll over and sit up and he's hard to hold down. He likes to stand up in the crib, jump up and down and drop stuff and watch it fall to the ground and then cry for us to come pick it up. Don't worry, we don't play this game but that means his bedtime routine has turned into crying for 5-20 minutes before falling asleep. He started waving hi and goodbye. He still only has two bottom teeth. Eating has also became a challenge: he'd rather pick everything up and feed himself and he doesn't like us feeding him with the spoon. Not only has this made meal time a mess, but we've had to upgrade from purees and formula to more gourmet finger foods. Theo loves his nanny, Algena, and his nanny share buddy, Elliot. Both boys are getting so big and it's fun to watch them grow and interact.

We bought a radio flyer at a garage sale last weekend. Can't wait to use it when we move to our new house! |
