First day(s) of school 2020
My First Days of School, by Theo
My first day of homeschool was the day after Labor Day. It was good. We did some math. We did some reading. We did some Prodigy. We watched Wild Kratts. I liked it. Daddy was my teacher and Mommy was my teacher, too. We had noodle bowls, hot dogs or sandwiches for lunches. We went for walks to Tischer Creek and Hartley. It was good.
My first day of real school (2nd grade) at Congdon Park was September 24. We got up. We ate breakfast. We went to the bus. I forgot my jacket. I got to school. My teacher's name is Miss Cuneo. My class is next to the computer lab. I have a blue locker. There are 12 kids in my class, 5 boys and 7 girls. We had to do some math and reading. Then we had recess. Daddy brought my jacket just in time. Then we played tag in zone 2. We had lunch in the cafeteria. I sat by my friend, Harrison. Everyone knows COVID is going on and we have to wear masks. We have to sit 6 feet apart for social distancing. Then we had snack and more math. We have to use a card to use the bathroom and only 3 people can be in there at a time. I made a new friend, Bodie. We had gym and sat on the floor listening to stupid rules. The best part of my day was doing math. I did not have any homework. Next week Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday are home school. I have to do Seesaw. I do stuff like math, reading, and other stuff the teacher assigns. My favorite part of school is math. I don't like reading.

My first day of kindergarten was I have no idea. I woke up to my alarm. I took a shower. I never eat breakfast. I went to the bus with mommy and daddy on the first day. I sat on the back and sat by T-H-E-O. I went down the steps and I went to my classroom. I got lost. The first teacher that I saw I asked for help. I forgot my teacher's name and then they said the different teacher's name and I remembered my teacher's name was Miss Forbort. I went to my classroom. It had trees in it. I set my backpack down. I put my stuff in my thing. I got my lunch. Then I went back home on the bus. I can't remember nothing else. My favorite part about school is the haunted ghost. The end.
First Day of School, by Daddy
The first day of school is like the last day of school and the whole f*ing summer; they are home and everyday is the same. It is me and the kids from 7am to 9pm and you, Mommy, are hardly around. The kids like school. It has actually been going very well. It is a lot better than last spring. They like playing on the Seesaw application. Marit likes to take videos of herself. Theo likes to do math and play Prodigy. The are learning about math and arithmetic. I read to them after they practice their reading. Marit is doing a very good job reading her Bob books but still needs to work on sounding out words. Theo likes the Elephant and Piggy books and constantly complains about reading but is reading very well. They practice piano. They get to play once in a while. We do art projects. The problem is our kids are too smart and it is too easy for them so we have to supplement to fill the time. On Thursday, I took the kids to the bus stop and it was very cute because Marit kept giving me hugs and kisses before getting on the bus and she was a little nervous. They were brave and got on the bus and off they went. Then I went home and enjoyed the quiet house, a cup of coffee and caught up reading my Harpers. The end.
