Cousins united and siblings re-united

The cousins meeting for the first time - baby Evelyn at 8 days and around 5 lbs. and me at 4 month and around 16 lbs.
Mommy and I couldn't wait to meet my new baby cousin, Evelyn, so we flew to Minnesota for the weekend to surprise Auntie Annie and Uncle Eric and meet the little one while Daddy and Theo stayed home. Uncle Dan also flew in to surprise Auntie and Uncle Eric so we had our whole family together, which was great! Last year, Uncle Dan bought a Easter Bunny costume on Amazon.com for when Theo came to visit so he could "meet the Easter Bunny." He was less than impressed and actually quite terrified but the costume has now become somewhat of an inside joke. Evelyn came home from the hospital on Easter Sunday and Grandpa was waiting on her front stoop dressed as the Easter Bunny when she arrived home. So, when Uncle Dan arrived, he also wore it and walked into their house and without saying anything went in to find the baby to hold. Auntie Annie thought it was silly Grandpa again but then in walked Grandpa and Uncle Dan took off the head to surprise her and she was in tears. When Mommy and I arrived in Minnesota, Mommy put on the costume too and walked in their house without saying a word. Auntie figured it was Uncle Eric but quickly realized that there was a little baby, whom she immediately recognized as ME, and was very surprised to see us, too!

Sisters and cousins!
We spent a lot of time hanging out on the couch and going for short walks. Grandma Pastorius, Auntie, Evelyn, Mommy and I even made it out to lunch, twice! I got to break-in all of Evelyn's new things - her beautiful crib, changing table, activity mat, swing, baby bjorn carrier, baby monitor, boppy - they all work great (and are now slightly used, thanks Auntie!). We brought Evelyn all my newborn, 3 month, and 6 month clothes as I'm comfortably into the 9 month size (and am a 12 month in certain brands).

This was my third round-trip flight in four months and I slept the whole time. Mommy said she never realized traveling alone with an infant was so easy (until she had to travel alone with a toddler and now traveling with a baby seems like a piece of cake). Enjoy the photos!
