What a great time of year! We had our first snowfall in Seattle last week but by the time I went outside to play it had all turned to slush! We bought our Christmas tree and I had fun running around the tree lot. I love the lights on the tree and I haven't broken any of the ornaments. I met Santa, twice, and didn't care for him much either time. He looks funny. We spent the last week hanging out with Grandma and Grandpa Benziger. We took a quick day trip to Port Townsend on the Olympic Peninsula and escaped the cold drizzle in Seattle. Mommy and Daddy had to work so I went to the zoo with Grandma and Grandpa and we had a great time! It's been another busy month - mommy was working at the hospital a lot leaving daddy to play with me when he's not working, and Algena, my nanny, plays with me the rest of the time. We had our first Thanksgiving dinner at our house. Daddy cooked the 12 lb. turkey, mashed potatoes, Grandma's meat stuffing, sweet potatoes, green beans with almonds, and we got two delicious pies from the Senior Center nearby. Mommy and Daddy are very thankful for many things, friends and family (even though we were unable to spend time with them this weekend), the internet (so we can facetime and join in their festivities), and me (and I am thankful for all my toys, especially the peek-a-shoe octupus ball game, my batmobile car, trucks, trains, and balls). We are thankful for our new home and Mommy's acceptance into Cardiology Fellowship at the University of Washington next year.
