Daddy came to visit!

I woke up last Sunday and there was Daddy! I really enjoy having him to play with and take me to the parks. Daddy will update you when he gets home about his trip but here are some photos from the past two weeks:

Every evening we walk along the malecon to one of the various playgrounds.

Mommy and Daddy are so happy to be together again!

I'm LOVE dogs and I was so excited to walk Bruno's dog...

until he saw a ball and took off (with me trailing behind)!

Daddy taught be how to hang on monkey bars...

and then he (usually) catches me when I fall!


Anniversary lunch at Maido's - Japanese and Peruvian fusion
Mommy and Daddy's 3rd anniversary lunch at Maido's - a very high end Japanese-Peruvian fusion resturant in Lima where they had the "Chef's experience," a 15-course meal. Mommy said that it was unbelievable!

The 15 course menu, which hardly described the gastronomic wonder that was to follow. 


Dish #2. Whelks with apple sorbet and squid with 2 types of mushrooms presented on a pumice rock

Dish #4. Scallops with maca that was presented with a glass cover and was smoking.

Dish #5, fish sandwich

Dish #6. Cuy confit (guinea pig) and noodles

Dish #7. Raw fish over an frozen chalaca served in a petri dish

Dish #8. Nigiris from the sea - mackerel and rock fish

Dish #9. Bacon tamale in a banana leaf

Dish #10. Chupemushi - a flan type dish with mushrooms and shrimp

Dish #11. Nigiri from the land - duck, panceta and steak

Dish #13. Braised short rib and fried rice served on a warm rock

Dish #15. The second dessert - Mommy's very happy (and full).

Dish #15. Lucuma ice cream with cushuro berries on top inside a chocolate shell made to look like temaki sushi.
